The management of BIN HAIDER Ltd. is committed to providing competent drivers and operators for the vehicles and equipment in the locations. BIN HAIDER Ltd. is dedicated to preventing bad behaviours from drivers and operators to stop accidents in the locations. BIN HAIDER management is committed to providing Defensive Driving training to all drivers and operators to ensuring that all applicable regulatory health and safety protection requirements.
This policy helps the drivers and operators to driving and operating safely as following:
@ All drivers and operators must have either Yemeni driver’s license or international one and copy of Driver License must keep it in the file.
@ Driving and operating for vehicles and equipments needs certification from third party company. Specially for heavy equipments like: Crane, Picker truck…etc.
@ All drivers and operators must comply with Health, Safety and Environment Policy.
@ All drivers and operators must attend TBT, HSE meetings and Trainings. It is compulsory to attend it in the locations.
@ All drivers and operators must follow up the Maximum Speed as following:
1. 80 km/hr in asphalt road.
2. 60 km/hr in other public road (non-asphalt road).
3. 40 km/hr in working locations.
4. 10 km/hr in base camp.
@ Alcohol, drugs, Qat, Mobile phones, Not using seat belts, Speeding, Poor driving practices, Operating faulty equipment, Minor at faulty accident and Major at faulty accident are prohibited during driving or operating in all field locations.
@ All drivers and operators must follow the driving traffic signs during driving or operating in the traffic roads or in the field locations roads.
@ Submission for driving and operating assessments and driving monitoring programs which will conduct by the driver trainer.
@ All drivers and operators must inspect their vehicles and equipments in daily basis and must comply with monthly inspection which will do by The Mechanic and Safety Officer in the locations.
@ If you check the vehicle or the equipment and you find some broken or it needs to maintenance or change, you must inform the movement department and HSE department then send it to the mechanic workshop to repair it. (Don’t drive such a vehicle or a equipment if it had something wrong or not working properly or there is something missing in it).
@ The drivers and operators must report if there some hindrances in the locations roads.
@ Reverse parking must implement it at the work locations and the camp Parking Areas are the
drivers and operators responsibilities.
@ The driver or the operator whom not following the above policy strictly, the management will punishment him immediately as the following:
1. Verbal Warning: Simple cases like: using mobile and if repeated written warning will issue to him immediately.
2. Written Warning: More serious than the simple case like: Over speed limit or Not wearing seat belt.
3. Salary Deduction: Unacceptable behavior or poor driving practices during the period that the written warning is in effect.
4. Suspension: Minor At-fault accident.
5. Termination: Major At-fault accident.
